01Data controller

Young Era, A.C. ("Young Era") is the non-profit civil association responsible for the personal data collected through New Generation International, NGI, the NGI P32 × New Balance program and the ng-international.net website.

Address: García, Nuevo León, México. Email for anything related to personal data: hola@ng-international.net.

02Data we process

Depending on the stage of the process, we may process:

  • Athlete identification and contact: name, date of birth, city and country, email and phone.
  • Parent or guardian: name, relationship and contact details.
  • Athletic: team, division, position, height, weight, stats, physical and skills evaluations, and game video links.
  • Academic: school, grade and academic standing, when needed for scholarships or eligibility.
  • Image and voice: photos and video taken at practices, tournaments and events.
  • Travel: passport and visa, only when the athlete competes abroad.

Sensitive data: health status, injuries, allergies, blood type and medical clearance. We process it only for the athlete's safety and participation requirements, and only with express written consent.

Minors: the program includes underage athletes. Their data is collected with the consent of the parent or legal guardian.

03Why we use it

Purposes required by the program:

  • Receive and evaluate the application.
  • Enroll the athlete in the program, its divisions and teams.
  • Register them for P32 circuit tournaments, showcases and events.
  • Track their athletic and academic development.
  • Build their athletic profile to present to coaches, universities, academies and organizations.
  • Arrange travel, lodging, insurance and paperwork to compete.
  • Look after their safety and health during activities and events.
  • Manage scholarships and communicate with the athlete and their family.
  • Meet legal obligations and, in government programs, prepare reports and support the external audit.

Additional purposes, not required by the program:

  • Publish photos, video and achievements on the website and social media.
  • Send calls for tryouts, newsletters and event information.
  • Produce internal statistics and satisfaction surveys.

You can opt out of the additional purposes by writing to hola@ng-international.net. Opting out does not affect the athlete's participation in the program.

04Who we share it with

For the program to serve its purpose, some data is shared inside and outside Mexico:

  • P32 circuit organizers and New Balance, as official sponsor, in the United States: tournament registration and participation.
  • Universities, coaches, academies, clubs and sports organizations in Mexico, the United States and Europe: evaluation, recruiting and scholarships.
  • Scouting and sports video platforms: sharing the athlete's profile.
  • Insurers, travel agencies and lodging: event travel and insurance.
  • Non-profit organizations, government agencies under agreement and the external auditor: program reports, with strictly necessary data only.
  • Competent authorities, when required by law.

Transfers to organizers, universities, coaches and platforms require your consent, given by checking the box on the form or signing the enrollment form. The others do not when they are necessary to fulfill the relationship with the athlete or a legal obligation.

Service providers such as web hosting and email act on Young Era's behalf and only process data to provide that service.

05Your ARCO rights

You have the right to access, rectify and cancel your data, or to object to its processing. For minors, these rights are exercised by the parent or guardian. Requests are handled by the Board of Directors of Young Era, A.C.

Send your request to hola@ng-international.net with the subject "ARCO rights" and include:

  • The data subject's name and a way to reply to you.
  • A document proving your identity or, where applicable, legal representation or parental authority.
  • A clear description of the data and the right you want to exercise.
  • Anything that helps locate the data.

We reply within 20 business days. If the request is granted, it takes effect within the following 15 business days.

06Withdraw consent or limit use

You can withdraw your consent or ask us to limit the use or disclosure of your data through the same channel: hola@ng-international.net. Withdrawal is not retroactive and, if it affects data the program requires, it may prevent the athlete from continuing.

You can also sign up for PROFECO's Public Registry to Avoid Advertising (REPEP).

07Cookies and tracking

This site does not use tracking, advertising or analytics cookies. The hosting provider logs technical data for each visit (IP address, browser, date and time) for security and operation.

The application form opens your own email program with the request already written. The site does not store what you type: we only receive the data if you send that email.
